Amber began her journey in healthcare at the age of 16 after spending four years volunteering at a local hospital. At the time, she was deciding between becoming a teacher or a nurse, and that experience ultimately guided her toward her passion for caregiving.

She started in the dietary department and worked her way up to become a CNA, and eventually an LPN, bringing with her 27 years of nursing experience. Her background includes serving as an administrator in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and memory care communities for the past several years.

Memory care is where Amber’s heart truly lies. She is passionate about supporting residents, their families, and team members while creating an environment that feels like home for everyone involved.

Amber joined Reflections as Executive Director in February 2026 and says she truly loves being part of the community. Originally from Troy, Missouri, she relocated to Illinois in 2025 with her husband and their twin boys. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially kayaking, exploring caves, and hiking.

Amber is grateful to be part of the Garden Place family. She values the strong support and teamwork she has experienced and looks forward to continuing to grow with the community.
