Our Team

We have a great team at Lone Oak Assisted Living Community – guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun. Contact us anytime, we would love to meet you!

Jose Garcia

Administrator

Jose joins Lone Oak with over 20 years of experience in senior living. He has dedicated his career to serving older adults with compassion, respect, and joy. His greatest passion and expertise lie in Memory Care, where he has grown through multiple roles—including caregiver, med tech, shift supervisor, and Resident Care Director. Bringing joy and comfort to residents is what makes each day meaningful for him.

Outside of work, Jose enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog, Maximus. They love discovering new trails, mountains, ocean paths, and everything in between (even if their family wishes they’d share their routes more often!). When he’s not hiking, he enjoys fishing, hunting for waterfalls, watching football (Go Packers!), or relaxing at home and working in the yard.

John Brown

Community Relations Director

John brings over fourteen years of international sales experience, along with a background in law enforcement and service in the Marine Corps, offering a unique and well-rounded skill set. His time as a police officer and Marine instilled in him a strong sense of duty, a commitment to service, and a passion for helping others.

Driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference, John thrives on being part of something greater than himself and is especially passionate about community outreach. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, fishing, working out, and spending quality time with his family.

Cedric Otterstrom-Sprang

Business Office Director

Cedric joined the Lone Oak team in 2025. Although new to the senior living industry, Cedric has spent his life seeking out and supporting individuals who are often overlooked or marginalized. He believes deeply in treating everyone with kindness, dignity, and humanity.

Cedric finds joy in helping others and takes pride in knowing he can make a positive impact. Thanks to his life experiences, this new role feels like a natural fit. He loves connecting with people, sharing laughs, and lifting spirits even if it means being the punchline of a joke. Cedric brings a lighthearted, go-with-the-flow attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference every day.

Judy Morris

Concierge

Judy began her career working with developmentally disabled and autistic individuals right out of high school. She became a CNA in 1994 and worked for various resident care communities, as well as a live-in senior foster manager. Her passion for serving residents led her to dedicate her career to providing compassionate care for seniors in assisted living.

She joined Lone Oak Assisted Living in 2000 as a caregiver, then worked her way up to Medication Technician, and into Health Services management as the Resident Care Coordinator. With a commitment to make a difference inside and outside the workplace, Judy became a foster mother in 2011 and subsequently adopted three sons. Judy’s hobbies include spending time with her husband and family and volunteering in her community.

Geanie Hosler

Staffing Coordinator

Since 2006, Geanie Hosler has worked in caregiving roles where flexibility, quick thinking, and compassion are essential. Now serving as the Schedule Coordinator, she brings a calm and confident presence to even the busiest days. Whether managing last-minute changes or supporting her team through the unexpected, Geanie is at her best when things get a little chaotic.

Originally from Visalia, California, Geanie relocated in June 2025 and began working with the community shortly after her move. She believes deeply in the power of showing up and making a difference each day, no matter how small the task may seem.

Outside of her professional life, Geanie has a passion for makeup artistry. She enjoys experimenting with new looks and helping others feel confident and beautiful, whether it’s for a special event or just for fun.

Wes Morris

Dining Services Director

Wes began working for Lone Oak Assisted Living in 2022. He enjoys working in healthcare environments because it offers him the opportunity to use his education in gerontology and social work.

His career began while still in college, and to pay for college, he worked in and managed restaurants. His wife was also attending college, and when she graduated with a degree in the healthcare industry, Wes went to work for a local hospital and remained there for 19 years as the Nutrition Service Director. Wes is a Certified Dietary Manager, CDM, and Certified Food Protection Professional, CFPP.

During his time off, Wes loves gardening most of all. He is a knife collector of fantasy knives and movie production knives, and he enjoys visiting his daughter and grandson on the Oregon coast.

Danielle Ward

Life Enrichment Director

Danielle is an Oregon native and has lived in six states, which she believes developed her appreciation of diversity. Her love of elders began at home when her grandmother lived with the family and shared stories, jokes, and played jazz music, danced, and laughed. Danielle plays piano for the residents at Lone Oak and says her love of music comes from her parents, who were always singing and playing music at home.

She began offering piano lessons at age 11 and working as a caregiver at age 19. Her passion for teaching and nurturing children bloomed into teaching summer-school and after-school programs. She uses her skills as a teacher and caregiver in her role as Life Enrichment Director. Danielle is the mother of four sons and believes her purpose in life is to be a blessing of love, encouragement, respect, and to make people smile and laugh!
